The recreational area LEISURE-OASIS Olbersdorfer See is located at the foot of the Zittau mountains, in the immediate vicinity of the Renaissance town of Zittau. Originated from a former brown ostrich farm, around 130 hectares of land were renovated here.

From May to October 1999 the second Saxon regional garden show Zittau-Olbersdorf took place here with the theme "landscape after the mining". In terms of post-utilization, many facilities have been set up for recreation and tourism.

Beginning in 2000 the first tourist facilities settled. In addition to a campsite you will find a hotel, a restaurant with beer garden, a beach snack, a beach shop with bicycle, boat and beach basket rental as well as a sports and leisure center with tennis alley and bowling alley.
